O’Fallon, MO— 2/19/2020 — As 2019 came to a close, Abbott Tool & Die, Inc. announced the recent acquisition and installation of the MAKINO U6 H.E.A.T. EXTREME. The first of its type in St. Louis Manufacturing market will enable Abbott Tool & Die to increase its productivity 200-300% without increasing costs of its resources.

 

“The Makino U6 H.E.A.T. Extreme Wire Electrical Discharge Machine (Wire EDM) is the fastest in the industry. Its innovative EDM technology uses a 0.016’’ (0.400mm) coated wire to achieve the fastest feed rates possible – two to three times as fast as the traditional 0.010’’ brass wire,” said Don Narzinski, Owner of Abbott Tool & Die, Inc.
